recovers her role as an actress in 'Libertad', Enrique Urbizu's series premiered last weekend on Movistar +, in which she plays a former bandit who was imprisoned for 17 years.
What is the Liberty?
On my second album I have a song, 'Sinsentido', which says: "I'm leaving / because, totally, / making my own decision / is almost the only real freedom / that I have left". And so it is: Being able to do it without being coerced is the small patch of freedom that we have left. Also the anonymity, that people do not value it at all. And now with this social media thing, people put everything together and don't understand that anonymity is a treasure.
Why is security preferred to freedom?
Being free, being happy, working it out, costs more.
The easy thing is to be bitter, a victim of society.
Because, of course, you can blame everyone.

How was the filming of the series?
As I understand it, they were not caught by the miracle pandemic.
We finished just a week early.
And it was incredible, because we spent four months in the field and they didn't put us on a set.
Also, in some incredible places, crazy, an hour and a half from Madrid.
Enrique took advantage of that: the rain, the fog, the cold, the mud, everything.
I would have spent two years like this.
What is Lucia like, whom you give life to?
When they told me about this character, I almost died.
I couldn't believe I understood her so well, everything.
Then working with a teacher takes all the bullshit from you.
Enrique is a piece of captain, he creates harmony, he gives you peace of mind.
The day before I started shooting I said to him: "Are you sure? Because we can still retire."
And also: "Please, have no mercy, correct me everything you have to correct."
But it is amazing.
On the days that I didn't have a shoot, I loved watching him work.
And what did you think of acting again?
12 years ago.
I have had a precious fortune because I have only worked with incredible people, such as Colomo, Cuerda, Medem Lucía arrives at a moment, after so long without doing cinema or theater, when I wanted to.
I was going to see if I could get something, but I didn't imagine such a thing either.
In the series you appear shaved, like Dreyer's Joan of Arc.
That movie drives me crazy.
Speaking of which: Do you think there is pressure for women to metaphorically 'burn' at the stake when creating?
If it were up to some people, theirs would be for you to be bitter all day, crying, with the whip.

One has to evolve.
Life has moments for tragedy and for everything.
And I am one of those who always see light in the tunnel.
Give an example, please.
When 'Bad' came out, there came a time when I was desperate.
Because they asked me as well as with intention: "But you, how did you write this?"
And neither did it have a very elaborate lyrics so as not to imagine the move.
I would say: damn, is that what they would have loved if a battered woman had been.
No thanks, it is not necessary.
Music is pure medicine for me.
If not, I would be crazy.
Why?
Because I'm so sorry, I can't look away from everything, in general.
Making a song is a time when you write and heal and laugh at yourself and cry.
And then I am lucky to have a catharsis on stage: I throw tantrums, I feel more comfortable than God and then I go home.
The pain is there and when you have to download it, it is downloaded, but without lasting any longer.
What was it like collaborating with Laura Pausini on your song 'Verdades a medias'?
It was during the summer, a little ray of light there.
When she calls me, I melt.
I say: please, of course I do.
Because she is a hooligan, a horny one, like me.
But just when we were going to record, at the beginning of last year, he sent me a photo of Milan that I was shocked.
And then it was all fired up.
Have you thought about waiting for everything to pass - epidemiologists say it will be around December - to work on your next album with Carlos Jean?
I don't want the disk to have a particular load.

What is your opinion of everything that is happening with the pandemic?
What I think is that it is evident, as with everything, that human beings repeat ourselves over and over again.

Everything is crazy, but they are cycles.
Maybe everything is very orchestrated, who knows.
How have you handled it?
Very sad and very bad, really, still managing emotions.
I finished the series and I said to myself: come on, two weeks just to change the chip.
Because I had such energy, I was so happy and I already had a lot of advanced material.
In September I started going to the studio, there I concentrated.
At home I no longer want to work, because I am not concentrating on anything at all.
How are you going to concentrate?
I can not.
At the beginning of the year I said: "It's over."
I have to wake up because it is not well, nothing of what is happening.
Many people have died and ... people have died alone.
It's too quiet.
And a lot of pain, that does not heal.
And nobody answers, man.
I don't know what's happening to us, but it's not right.
Can you get something positive?
The good thing for me is the time I have spent with my daughter, which was a gift.
He had not hit me in my house for a whole week since March of the previous year.
That is our little treasure, those of us who are fortunate to have children.
But for me it is a horror that children have to wear masks, it is like sending them to the gas chamber.
Do you think there is room to disagree with the official versions?
They are the new weapons of the 21st century: Don't let it show;

When I ever see 'TV' it is to know the hang that they are counting.
All the while getting scared everywhere.
If the masks are not first, now yes ... In this year that we have been in, there are things that at first can be clumsy.

What do you think of the media lynchings that you, the artists and creators, sometimes suffer?
As if we were serial killers.

Have you ever stopped saying something?
We have a self-censorship imposed 'jevi metal'.
You have to be careful, because silence also makes you an accomplice.

'Libertad' is a piece of history full of men and women who fight and throw things on their backs with all the consequences, who are not a victim or anything in spite of what they suffer.
