Augsburg (dpa / lby) - 15 vehicles were involved in an accident series on the A8 Ulm - Munich shortly before Augsburg on Wednesday afternoon.
Several people were slightly injured, said a police spokesman.
Initially - probably due to a driving error by one of the participants - seven cars crashed into each other.
In the backwater, first two trucks, then four cars and a little later two more cars collided.
The lane was completely closed, the vehicles backed up for kilometers to the Adelsried junction.
There were also traffic disruptions on the diversion route B10.
The eviction continued in the evening.
Around 7.30 p.m., however, at least one lane should be free again, said the police spokesman.
