This was stated by Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko on the air of the TV channel "Russia 1".

“In recent weeks, the situation has been improving, but I want to state that, nevertheless, a fairly large number of the population is receiving treatment specifically against coronavirus infection.

And the prevention of the third wave is the observance of anti-epidemic measures by the population and vaccination, ”Murashko said.

The minister also pointed out that during this period the rates of vaccine supplies to the constituent entities of the Russian Federation have increased.

“We see that the deployed number of vaccination stations in the country today is 4.5 thousand stationary and more than 1.5 thousand mobile.

Now the most important thing is to fill the hospital network with a sufficient volume of vaccine, which, in general, the industry is doing today, increasing the volume, ”he stressed.

In turn, Oksana Drapkina, the chief freelance specialist in therapy and general medical practice of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, director of the National Medical Research Center for Therapy and Preventive Medicine, made an appeal to the Russians.

In her opinion, citizens need to be vaccinated as soon as possible.

“I just want to say that not a single vaccine reaches a person if it has not passed the millstones, very strict millstones of the same evidence-based medicine, all the same regulatory authorities.

Therefore, I can say with absolute authority that all three vaccines are effective and safe, ”she stressed.
