The Federation Council Committee supported the law on toughening the rules for the work of foreign NGOs

According to RIA Novosti, in particular, foreign NGOs and their subdivisions will be required to report annually to the Ministry of Justice on their work, income and expenses, branches of foreign NGOs will be prohibited from registering in residential premises.

The Federation Council will consider the law at a meeting on March 31.

On February 17, the Federation Council approved a bill on fines for violating the procedure for the activities of NGOs and individuals recognized as foreign agents.
