Hilpoltstein (dpa / lby) - Species protection is extremely important not only in distant rainforests, but also in Bavaria: That is why the State Association for Bird Protection in Bavaria (LBV) is starting the podcast “Ausgeflogen” from April 1st.
In each episode, members of the association talk about topics such as endangered animal species, landscape conservation or environmental education, the LBV announced on Tuesday in Hilpoltstein in Central Franconia.
In addition to endangered species of birds, wolves and insects, the podcast should primarily be about volunteering, said an LBV spokeswoman.
“Because of the Corona crisis, you can't do as much as usual at the moment. Excursions and lectures cannot take place at the moment.
We still want the active ones to have their say. "
For the podcast, a new episode should appear on the first Thursday of each month.
