North Korea's Labor Party Vice President Kim Yeo-jeong expressed strong regret for accusing President Moon Jae-in of'American parrots' and the like.
The Ministry of Unification said, "We express a strong regret for this discourse by Vice Minister Kim Yeo-jeong."
The Ministry of Unification also said, "It is our government's consistent position that striving to continue dialogue between the two Koreas is the only and correct path for the progress of the Korean Peninsula peace process.
The Ministry of Unification expressed regret for North Korea's words and actions, but said it would maintain consistent efforts to advance the Korean Peninsula peace process and create a flow of dialogue.
