Berlin (dpa) - Olympic volleyball champion Sergej Grankin is said to stay with the BR Volleys for two more years, according to information from the “Berliner Morgenpost” (Wednesday).

Before the start of the final playoffs against VfB Friedrichshafen, the Berlin club agreed on a contract extension with the Russian Olympic champion until 2023.

"I haven't even thought about other clubs," the 36-year-old Grankin is quoted as saying.

The player came from Dynamo Moscow to the BR Volleys in January 2019.

There was no official confirmation from the Berlin Bundesliga club on Tuesday evening.
