Darmstadt (dpa / lhe) - Because of attempted manslaughter and assault, a 57-year-old father and three of his children are standing before the Darmstadt district court from this Tuesday (9:00 a.m.).
The father and the 24 to 37-year-old children - two sons and a daughter - are said to have shot, hit and kicked four members of another family in a shootout in the Alt-Kranichstein district of Darmstadt on May 7, 2020.
The defendants are German citizens and come from Darmstadt and the surrounding area.
According to the indictment, the background to the dispute was a long-term custody battle.
A 32-year-old son, who was also arrested in May, killed himself in custody in October 2020.
