The so-called "Sjöstaden" in Holmsund outside Umeå is expected to be like a new smaller town.

The first sod for the district was taken last year and a grocery store was expected to be ready already this autumn.

But now new news is coming.

- Somewhere's summer / autumn 2024 is probably more likely in this situation, says Lars Carlstedt, property manager at Coop Nord.

The reason is that the temporary building permit has not been granted.

The Swedish Transport Administration objected and wants more answers about, among other things, safety at the adjacent road, E12.
