Berlin (dpa / bb) - The corona incidence in Berlin has fallen slightly for the first time in a week, but remains well above the critical mark of 100. On Tuesday, the number of people infected per 100,000 inhabitants over the past seven days was 142 , 4, as can be seen in the health administration's management report.

The previous day the value was 146.4.

663 new infections were reported.

The number of infected people has increased to 145,249 cases since the beginning of the pandemic.

Since last Tuesday (incidence 102.3) the incidence has been above 100 without interruption and had increased daily until Monday.

The highest value is still in the Neukölln district with 191 (previous day 211.3).

Four new coronavirus-related deaths have been reported.

The number of people who died rose to 3,047. 133,313 people are considered to have recovered.

The Berlin Corona traffic light continues to show red with the incidence. With the so-called R value, it remains in the green area at 1.03.

The R value indicates how many people an infected person infects on average.

18.9 percent of the intensive care beds are occupied by Covid 19 patients, a little more than the previous day (17.8 percent).
