“About 99% of passengers wear a mask,” RIA Novosti quotes a statement from the press service of the Moscow State Public Institution “Organizer of Transportation”.

It is noted that if in summer 82% of passengers wore masks in the metro, and 36% - masks and gloves, then by the middle of winter this figure had grown to 99% and 66%, respectively.

The press service also recalled that, despite the removal of a number of restrictions at the beginning of 2021, masks and gloves in public transport in Moscow are still required.

In January 2021, Vladislav Sultanov, the head of the Transportation Organizer State Public Institution, said that about 3.1 thousand passengers of Moscow transport were fined on New Year's holidays for violating the above-mentioned regime.
