Euskirchen (dpa) - The Euskirchen district in North Rhine-Westphalia temporarily stopped the corona vaccination of women under 55 with the active ingredient from Astrazeneca on Monday.
After a vaccinated woman (47) died last week, the district has now been reported to be suspected of having "a serious illness" of a 28-year-old after being vaccinated with Astrazeneca.
Both had suffered a sinus vein thrombosis, according to the district.
“The district of Euskirchen informed the district government and the NRW Ministry of Health about the new situation at noon today and announced the moratorium.

The Bonn public prosecutor routinely initiated a death investigation.
