Hamburg (dpa) - The gourmet theater show by top chef Cornelia Poletto in front of the Hamburg Deichtorhallen will be postponed again.
"It is with great regret that we are again forced to suspend the planned season 2021 and postpone it to autumn 2022," said Palazzo managing director Michaela Töpfer on Monday in Hamburg.
This time, however, the reason for this is not primarily the corona pandemic.
Instead, the upcoming renovation of the «House of Photography» prevents the return to its traditional location.
“In the absence of an adequate replacement venue, the upcoming construction work on the Deichtorhallen is unfortunately already forcing us to make this difficult decision,” Töpfer continues.
At the same time, work is already being done on the 7th edition, which should start in November 2022.
Poletto has hosted the dinner show at the Spiegelpalast for six years.
The program in the circus tent usually consists of artistry, magic, revue dancing, clowning and a four-course menu prepared by the top chef.
The Hamburger Spiegelpalast dinner show is one of five “Palazzo” dinner shows in Germany that are hosted by well-known chefs.
According to the organizer, more than 27,000 people recently attended the show in Hamburg's Spiegelpalast with its 370 seats.
