China News Service, March 29. According to Bloomberg News, citing maritime service provider Inchcape, the heavy container ship that stranded on the Suez Canal had resurfaced on the 29th local time.

On March 27, local time, a stranded container ship was lit up late at night on the Suez Canal in Egypt.

However, the report pointed out that it is not yet clear when the blocked channel will be reopened.

On March 23, a 400-meter-long heavy freighter flying the Panamanian flag ran aground on the new channel of the Suez Canal, causing congestion in the channel. Hundreds of ships were waiting in line nearby.

The Suez Canal is located at the key point of the intercontinental zone of Europe, Asia, and Africa, connecting the Red Sea and the Mediterranean Sea.

The income from the canal is one of the main sources of Egyptian national fiscal revenue and foreign exchange reserves.
