Ludwigshafen (dpa / lsw) - Because of a burst water pipe in Ludwigshafen, several railways are being diverted there.

As the Rhein-Neckar-Verkehr GmbH announced on Monday evening, lines 4, 4A, 9 and 10 are affected.

In addition, the water could become cloudy in the entire city area, as reported by the Technical Works Ludwigshafen (TWL).

Affected citizens should let the water run longer to flush the pipes.

Occasionally, there could also be a pressure drop in the network.

The pipe burst in the early evening in Frankenthaler Strasse, near Rohrlachstrasse and Valentin-Bauer-Strasse.

“TWL is in the process of shutting down the affected line and is on site to repair the damage.

No information can currently be given about the duration of the measures, ”it said.

The disruption in rail traffic is expected to continue until Tuesday, according to the Rhine-Neckar traffic.

There are delays and cancellations on the lines mentioned.
