England logically won 2-0 in Albania and Spain had to wait for extra time to win in extremis in Georgia (2-1) on Sunday in the first matches of the second day of qualifying for the World-2022 in Qatar.

In the early afternoon, France, hung at home by Ukraine (1-1) on the first day, was somewhat reassured by winning in Astana in Kazakhstan (2-0), with two goals from Ousmane Dembélé and Serhiy Malyi against his camp (44th).

Paris star striker SG Kylian Mbappé, who came into play in the 59th minute, missed a penalty in the 75th, well deflected by Aleksandr Mokin.

Already victorious 5-0 against weak San Marino on the first day, the English team of Gareth Southgate logically won in Tirana.

Tottenham captain and scorer Harry Kane opened the scoring in the 38th minute, with an unstoppable header on a left cross from Luke Shaw.

In the second half, Chelsea's left winger Mason Mount sheltered his family, with a nice curled shot (63 ').

It had been twenty years since England had played in Albania.

Albania who won 1-0 in Andorra on Thursday and remained on an astonishing streak of four straight wins.

The two other posters of this group I oppose in the evening (8:45 p.m.) Poland against Andorra and San Marino against Hungary.

Wednesday, the meeting between England and Poland, the two big favorites of the group, promises to be exciting.
