The alarm about the fire came in at 21.34 on Friday evening, March 19.

The fire is suspected to have started after an apartment owner cooked.

Later, the fire spread to the attic.

Six apartments were completely destroyed and one person was taken to hospital with minor smoke injuries.

There was no risk of spreading and the neighboring houses survived.

It is unclear whether the apartment building will be rebuilt or not.

The owner, Victor Rosenqvist, says that it depends on how much insurance money the owners get back from this.

"Surreal feeling"

Görel Modig and her husband sold the house seven years ago after owning it for 40 years.

- It is a very unreal feeling.

The house has always been there, she says and continues:

- The thoughts naturally go to those who have lived there, how they feel now.

The families who lived in the house must have arranged some form of accommodation.
