Hovsta scout corps has also increased in number of members in 2020, over thirty new children and young people have joined.
- That we are growing is fantastic fun, but also demands that we have premises and leaders, says Tove Ekroth.
Smaller groups
The Scouts are one of Sweden's largest children and youth organizations.
During the pandemic, the organization has made several adjustments to be able to keep going.
For example, there have been digital meetings, small groups and all physical meetings have been outdoors.
The 3,000 new scouts are evenly distributed across the country and between age groups and gender.
