Erfurt (dpa / th) - In Thuringia, 944 further corona cases were reported on Sunday.
As the State Chancellery announced, the seven-day value for new infections per 100,000 inhabitants rose to 232 after a slight decrease on Saturday. On Sunday, after a brief improvement on Saturday, the district of Greiz was again the district worst affected by the pandemic in Germany.
There the incidence was a good 514. In the Saale-Orla district, which was the number one corona hotspot in Germany on Saturday (514), it fell to 386.
With an incidence of around 470, the Wartburg district is the fourth most severely affected district in Germany.
Eleven more deaths related to a corona infection were reported from Saturday to Sunday.
According to the State Chancellery, the total number of those who died of or with the coronavirus in Thuringia rose to 3,292. 173 seriously ill with Covid-19 were treated in intensive care units in hospitals on Sunday, this number has been rising continuously for weeks.
