Cologne (dpa / lnw) - A man was brutally beaten by two attackers in Cologne.
According to the authorities, the 31-year-old got off a subway with his girlfriend on Sunday night and got into an argument with a 15-year-old and a 19-year-old at the stop.
What it was about was still unclear.
According to previous knowledge, the two hit him to the ground and kicked their victim until they passed out.
Rescue workers took the injured person to a hospital.
The police and the public prosecutor are investigating the two suspects, who were taken to the police station and then released.
They received criminal charges.
