Its epicenter was 205 km southeast of the regional center Ust-Kamchatsk.

The outbreak was located at a depth of 29.5 km under the seabed.

The energy class of the seismic event was 11.4.

Earlier it was reported that an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 occurred in Japan.
