In the six provinces and cities of Zhejiang and Guangdong, the total number of civil servants in the provincial examinations in 2021 exceeded 150,000.

This provincial examination extended the "olive branch of sincerity" to fresh graduates, the number of recruits increased, and the recruiting conditions were relaxed.

　　In 2021, the number of civil servants recruited in many provinces has decreased compared with last year: Inner Mongolia plans to recruit 7,270 people in 2020, and plans to recruit 5,310 people this year, which is a significant drop from last year; in Henan, compared to last year's recruitment of nearly 10,000 people. The number of recruits this year has dropped to 7,901; Guangxi plans to recruit 2,905 people this year, which is reduced by half compared to the previous year’s 5,890 people.

　　This year, 18 provinces have reduced the number of recruits in the civil service provincial examination, and the scale has been significantly reduced, including Guangxi, Shanxi, Hubei, Hunan and so on.

According to the figures provided by Zhong Gong Education, the 24 provinces that held the joint examination on the 27th recruited 110,541 people, which was 6.24% less than last year.

　　In an interview with reporters, Wang Jian, the chief counseling expert of China Public Education, said that the changes in the overall recruitment numbers of civil servants in the provincial examination are not only related to the impact of the epidemic, but also closely related to the actual needs of the province.

For example, in 2020, the number of recruits in many provinces has increased, hitting a new high, and the vacancies in the civil service establishment have been effectively supplemented. Therefore, there has been a decline in the number of recruits this year.

In addition, with the gradual stabilization of the epidemic, the resumption of work and production of enterprises is in good shape, and the society’s ability to attract employment has increased, and the urgency of the government to recruit civil servants to solve the employment problem has begun to decline.

Wang Jian said that the determination of the number of recruits for provincial examinations is more due to the needs of civil servant structure adjustment and work development.

　　In the 2021 civil service provincial examination, 11 provinces and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps have expanded their enrollment, among which Yunnan and Chongqing have expanded their enrollment significantly.

　　According to the figures from Zhong Gong Education, in this year’s civil service provincial examination, 1018 of Anhui’s recruitment quotas are only for fresh graduates, an increase of 98 over last year; 96.60% of the positions in Liaoning Province do not have work experience requirements, and there are only 2,099 positions. Only fresh graduates are allowed to apply for the exam, accounting for 48% of the total number of positions; the number of recruits limited to 2021 fresh graduates in Yunnan Province is as high as 3,415, accounting for 56.15% of the total number, and 2426 positions, accounting for 54.3% of the total number of positions.

　　In addition, the definition of "graduates" in the provincial examination for civil servants tends to be looser, and many positions allow graduates who are within the two-year job selection period to apply for the examination.

　　Wang Jian pointed out that most of the civil service provincial exams allow fresh graduates to apply for the exam, and some positions only allow fresh graduates to apply. It can be seen that fresh graduates have certain advantages in participating in the provincial exam.

As long as they are determined to go down to the front line, and their voluntary professions are consistent with their positions, they will have a better chance to achieve their ideals in life in the 2021 civil service provincial examination.
