The battles raged over the past two days in the Kassara front, west of Ma'rib, up to Al-Jadafar, which is located on the countryside of the capital on the side of Al-Jawf Junction, after Houthi attempts to carry out attacks from different areas in Medghal, Sarwah and Raghwan, amid intense air strikes by the Arab coalition.

Field sources confirmed that the coalition fighters launched a series of raids targeting Houthi reinforcements and combat vehicles that were stationed in the vicinity of Al-Kassara, and on the outskirts of Al-Khadra area in western Marib, which led to the killing of an entire Houthi battalion.

On the Jabal Murad front in the south of the governorate, the commander of the front, Brigadier General Muhammad al-Halisi, confirmed that the army and tribes forces were able to repel the Houthi militia’s second attack within 24 hours, through which they tried to repel the first defenses of the army in the area to advance towards the city of Ma'rib after failing to make any progress on the fronts.
