Vechta (AP) - Rasta Vechta suffered a bitter defeat in the fight to stay in the basketball league.
The team of coach Thomas Päch lost to the BG Göttingen on Saturday evening in the Lower Saxony duel at home with 79: 103 (36:69).
In the first half, Vechta could not keep up and fell significantly behind.
An increase in performance, especially in the third quarter, was no longer enough to turn the game around.
Göttingen stabilized further in the middle of the table through the success.
The best thrower was Göttingen's Deishuan Booker, who scored 23 points.
Josh Young was most successful at Vechta with 19 points.
