Sage, peppermint and nettles were planted on the Petersberg in Erfurt on Saturday, as the Evangelical Church in Central Germany announced.

Kneipp once used these herbs as well as waterfalls for therapy.

They grow on the so-called religious area of ​​the Petersberg, which the EKM and the Catholic diocese contribute to the Federal Garden Show.

The Kneipp movement in Germany celebrates the 200th birthday of its founder on May 17th.

On this day, an event by the Kneipp associations is planned on the Buga.

The Kneipp therapy is an intangible cultural heritage of Unesco.
