Potsdam (dpa / bb) - In Brandenburg, the number of corona infections continues to rise.

According to the Ministry of Health, the seven-day incidence on Saturday was around 135 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, after just under 130 on Friday and around 129 on Thursday.

Because of the increasing numbers, the latest corona easing has to be withdrawn in more and more counties.

Ten districts as well as the cities of Cottbus and Frankfurt (Oder) were on Saturday with their seven-day incidence at least three days in a row over 100, as the Ministry's figures further show.

According to the current rules, only one household and one other person are allowed to meet there, shops and museums are no longer allowed to open for date purchases.

Supermarkets and other shops for daily needs are excluded.

Corona hotspot in the country is still the Elbe-Elster district with an incidence value of 266. The Oberspreewald-Lausitz district follows (211).

Only Potsdam, Brandenburg / Havel and the districts of Dahme-Spreewald and Uckermark are below the 100 mark.
