Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) - The state of North Rhine-Westphalia is providing 130,000 doses of the Biontech vaccine against the corona virus from the reserve over the Easter days and wants to have them inoculated in the municipalities.

The delivery dates for Biontech in the next few weeks are "very stable" and reliable, said Health Minister Karl-Josef-Laumann (CDU) on Friday in Düsseldorf.

A message to the districts and independent cities, how many vaccine doses they would get in addition, has already been sent.

This means that "very strong vaccination in vaccination centers" is possible over the Easter days.

The vaccination centers could work “fully from morning to evening”, said the minister.

"If we manage to vaccinate 130,000 more people over Easter, that's a good thing."

It is also responsible to go to the Biontech reserve, because the certainty that there are enough doses for the second vaccination is given.
