A woman was sentenced Wednesday by the Lorient Criminal Court for drug trafficking.

At the bar, it was a 59-year-old woman who was on trial.

According to the daily, the defendant was suspected of having sold heroin in her apartment located in Auray, in Morbihan.

The investigation had shown many movements around his home but also a large number of phone calls and SMS.

Nearly 130 grams were seized during the search.

At the bar, the grandmother denied being involved in heavy trafficking and explained that she had only been selling for two months.

Drug addict, she justified this crime by her need to repay her debt to her suppliers.

The defendant was sentenced to twelve months in prison, six of which were suspended.
