Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said, "Russia and South Korea maintain the position that the negotiation process between all concerned countries should be resumed as soon as possible to ensure that all issues in the region are resolved."



Minister Lavrov said, after having a meeting with Foreign Minister Eui-yong Eui-yong and Foreign Ministers at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Building in Seoul on the 25th.



Minister Lavrov said, "I put a special emphasis on the importance of efforts to maintain peace and stability not only on the Korean Peninsula, but also in Northeast Asia," he said. "It includes that all countries concerned should give up arms race and all kinds of military activities." Emphasized.



It appears to be a remark with the North Korean launching a short-range ballistic missile today and the efforts of South Korea and the United States to increase power.



Regarding North Korea's missile launch, Minister Eui-yong Eui said, "As agreed between the North and South Korean leaders in September 2018, I urged the North to continue to participate in our efforts to make the Korean Peninsula a peaceful home without nuclear weapons and nuclear threats."




On the issue of Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to Korea, Minister Chung said, "We have agreed to work together to ensure that President Putin's visit to Korea can be realized early as soon as the Corona 19 situation stabilizes."
