Covid-19: Cuba launches the vaccination of its caregivers with its Soberana 2 vaccine

Even before its approval, Soberana 2 has already been injected into Cuban health workers in an intervention study launched on Monday, March 22, ahead of the vaccination campaign that is expected to start in June.
Cubans have set themselves the goal of vaccinating the entire population by the end of the year with its national injection.

Large scale injection
Even before completing clinical trials,
the Soberana 2 vaccine
was therefore injected on a large scale to 150,000 doctors, nurses and technical and maintenance staff in hospitals.
This before the 1.7 million volunteers in Havana in the coming months, pending the approval of the vaccine and the start of the vaccination campaign to the rest of the population, next June.
