Los Angeles (AP) - The model Chrissy Teigen, wife of pop star John Legend, has said goodbye to Twitter.

Before that, she wrote emotional lines to her followers: “You have been my world for over 10 years.

(...) But it's time for me to say goodbye.

This no longer serves me - both positively and negatively, ”she wrote in a final series of tweets before deleting her account, as several US media reported unanimously.

Teigen (35) cited the negative attitudes of some social media users as the reason: "One thing I haven't learned is how to block out the negativity," she continued.

She is sensitive.

She was "deeply hurt" over the years and urged users to "know and never forget that your words count".

Since then, her Twitter account can no longer be accessed.

She did not say whether Teigen wanted to keep her profiles on other platforms such as Instagram.
