Lüneburg (AP) - The German record champions VfB Friedrichshafen have again reached the playoff final of the volleyball Bundesliga.

The team from Lake Constance also won the second semi-final game at SVG Lüneburg on Thursday evening with 3: 2 (25:20, 24:26, 25:20, 18:25, 15:11).

In the first game, the Friedrichshafen team turned a 2-0 set deficit into a 3-2 win.

The final opponent will be determined on Saturday in a third game between the SWD Powervolleys Düren and the defending champion Berlin Recycling Volleys.

VfB lost the playoff finals four times in a row before the Corona crisis.

Between 2005 and 2011, the 13-time German champion won the title seven times in a row.
