Like France and Ukraine (1-1) in the same group, Finland and Bosnia separated in a draw, 2 to 2, in their first qualifying match for the 2022 World Cup, Wednesday in Helsinki.

The Bosnians opened the scoring thanks to a penalty converted by Barcelona's Miralem Pjanic at the start of the second half (55th).

The advantage was short lived and the Nordiques equalized three minutes later by their most famous player, striker Teemu Pukki, who plays for Norwich in the English league.

It is the same man who gave the advantage to the Finns (77th), who dream of qualifying for the first time in history for a World Cup and will participate in their first major tournament at the Euro in June.

But the Bosnians, already present at a World Cup, in Brazil in 2014, quickly returned to the score by Miroslav Stevanovic (84th).

"It leaves a bitter taste in your mouth not to have been able to take the three points," said Pukki, the hero of the Euro qualifying campaign with ten goals in as many games.
