Hamburg (AP) - Hamburg provides help for the Rostock Piranhas ice hockey team.

Because the upper league team cannot train in the Rostock ice rink at the moment, they are temporarily moving to the q.beyond arena in Hamburg's Volkspark and play their home games there.

The Alexander Otto Sports Foundation announced on Wednesday.

During the time, the team will stay in a nearby hotel.

"Hamburg will be a hockey city again for some time with the crocodiles and piranhas," said arena manager Sarah Miesner.

«Starting next Sunday we would have had four home games in seven days, which we are now playing in Hamburg.

Playing the season without an audience hurts.

Moving the home games to another city doesn't make things any easier for everyone involved, ”said Piranhas Vice President Christian Trems.
