March 24, 2021 A 66-year-old woman found herself trapped in the flames in her apartment on the third floor of a building in Via Monserrato, near Campo dei Fiori.

Seized by fear and panic, she threw herself out of the window and fell into the courtyard.

The emergency services of 118 were useless. Firefighters and the police were on site.

In red code, however, the 67-year-old husband, who was transported to the Santo Spirito hospital.

The apartment was made unusable by the fire brigade.
