For two evenings, SVT Nyheter Väst followed the police in the hunt for sex buyers where several men were arrested at various addresses.

Alarmed several times

One of the tenants where the police raided says that a few months ago she discovered strange men moving in the stairwell and behaving strangely, as if they were burglars.

- There has been a deviant response from them.

He does not want to look in the eyes, he does not want to greet, which you always do otherwise.

She says that she contacted the real estate company several times, which is said to have said that she did not need to contact the police because there had been no burglary.

The real estate company sent out an email to the tenants not to let in unauthorized persons.

When she found out from a neighbor that there was sex trafficking in the property, she contacted the real estate company again.

The answer was that the person no longer lived.

"Do not feel that it has been taken so seriously"

She had wanted the landlord to give feedback and be clear about what had happened in the house.

And what the tenants could do to prevent it from continuing.

She considered alerting the police.

- But when those who own the property said that it was not necessary without them taking care of it, I chose to wait.

According to the neighbor, the residents have not received any information that the police have attacked the address.

CEO: "Always act immediately"

Henrik Nilsson, CEO of Sigillet fastigheter, does not want to stand for an interview but writes in an email to SVT:

“We always act immediately when we receive information about criminal activity in our properties.

This means that we take the measures that are compatible with Swedish legislation.

This can be personal contact with the tenants concerned, warning letters or, in serious cases, termination of the lease and application for eviction. ”
