In Sochi, a lyceum student was detained, who announced on the VKontakte social network about his intention to make explosives and attack classmates.

This was reported in the Public Relations Center of the FSB of Russia.

According to the ministry, at home the detainee found self-made explosives and components for making improvised explosive devices.

Also among the things found by the security forces were communication equipment, a personal diary with instructions for assembling homemade bombs, as well as materials about armed attacks on educational institutions.

The footage published by the FSB shows components of an improvised explosive made by a schoolboy.

In addition, the footage shows correspondence on social networks, drawings and a photograph of Vladislav Roslyakov, who staged the shooting at Kerch College in 2018.

As a result of these events, 15 students and five employees of the educational institution were killed.

According to the ministry, a teenager born in 2005 intended to arrange an attack at a school.

The Investigative Committee explained that a 16-year-old young man, "feeling dislike and hostility towards his classmates and teachers," planned to arrange a terrorist attack at the school.

At the address of his residence, illegally stored hunting rifle and gunpowder, as well as communications equipment, in which instructions for the manufacture of IEDs were found, were seized.

As follows from the video released by law enforcement agencies, the detainee himself admitted his intention to attack the school in April 2021.

Prior to that, at the end of December 2020, an 18-year-old boy was detained in Tula, who, according to security officials, was planning an attack on an educational institution.

They found a sawed-off shotgun of a hunting rifle and a means of communication, which contained information about similar attacks.

In September, the FSB detained 13 Russian citizens in several regions.

According to the department, they planned massacres using homemade bombs, incendiary mixtures and cold weapons.

It was noted that at least one of the detainees was planning to stage a terrorist attack at a school on September 1.

As the detainee himself stated, he planned to use all this "for shooting at school."

According to investigators, the attacker found instructions for making IEDs on the Internet, collected several bombs on them, and then hid them in a building belonging to his family members.
