38% said they would not want to leave for Moscow, 26% named Chelyabinsk, 19% of respondents indicated Vladivostok and Khabarovsk.

Omsk, Ufa and Krasnoyarsk are also included in the top ten most frequently named destinations. 

“15% each noted that they were not ready to move to Omsk and Ufa, 14% - to Krasnoyarsk.

Every eighth respondent (13%) would not move to Novosibirsk.

10% of the study participants indicated that they would not like to change their city to Voronezh, St. Petersburg and Yekaterinburg, ”the study says.

The most common reasons why respondents chose a particular city were high stress levels (35%), poor environment (34%), high real estate prices (22%) and the inability to build the desired career (21%).

At the same time, those who chose Moscow singled out a number of reasons why they would not want to move to the capital.

“Those who would not like to move to Moscow most often indicated that they were repelled by stress and vanity (68%), high housing prices (44%), as well as bad ecology (41%),” experts say.

More than 9 thousand users of the service from all regions of Russia took part in the study on cities unwanted to move, a survey on the reasons why Russians do not want to move to a particular city collected the opinions of more than 4.4 thousand respondents from all regions of Russia.
