On Sunday evening, the police were alerted to central Landskrona where witnesses saw a woman hanging outside a balcony.

The woman was pulled up from the balcony by two passers-by who entered the apartment.

Two men in their 20s and 30s were arrested at the scene and later arrested on probable cause on suspicion of attempted murder.

The men have been released

After both the men and the woman were heard on Monday, the prosecutor decided to close the case and the men have now been released.

According to chamber prosecutor Kristoffer Nordström, it is not possible to prove that any crime actually took place.

- There are witnesses who strengthen what the woman and the suspects said in interrogation, but there are also witnesses who perceived the incident in a different way.

The overall assessment is still that it is not possible to prove crime, he says.

"Will not come anymore"

Kristoffer Nordström highlights the police's work in the case.

- They were quickly on site with several patrols.

It took it very seriously, a door was knocked and the apartment was locked off quickly.

We are no longer in this matter, but praise for their efforts, he says.
