Smearing "Agriculture and Forestry 22 Articles", the DPP authorities have sinister intentions (Sun Moon Talk)
Many departments in the mainland have recently jointly issued the "Measures to Support the Development of Taiwan Compatriots and Taiwan-Funded Enterprises in the Mainland's Agricultural and Forestry Fields" (referred to as "Agriculture and Forestry 22 Measures").
This is a great thing for Taiwan compatriots and Taiwanese enterprises, but the DPP authorities have jumped out to spread rumors, claiming that these measures are sugar-coated shells, "concealing evil intentions", and despicable remarks with sinister intentions are disgusting.
The “22 Measures for Agriculture and Forestry” is a specific measure to implement the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and promote the implementation of the “14th Five-Year Plan”, which is in the same line as the “31 Measures” and “26 Measures”.
These measures are based on the new stage of development in the mainland, encourage Taiwanese and Taiwanese enterprises to seize opportunities, upgrade and develop, close to the needs of grassroots Taiwanese compatriots, and focus on common issues that Taiwanese and Taiwanese enterprises are concerned about. They cover a wide range and provide strong support, which will help further Taiwanese compatriots and Taiwanese enterprises participate in the high-quality development of agriculture and forestry on the mainland and provide equal treatment for rural revitalization.
However, many departments of the DPP authorities have ranted and maliciously attacked this.
They falsely claim that the "22 measures for agriculture and forestry" are "named to benefit Taiwan, but to benefit China". The purpose is to magnetize Taiwan's agricultural talents, capital, and technology. It is the so-called "means of united front against Taiwan", and the relevant subsidy policies are even more "full of" "Risks", the people of Taiwan must "be vigilant."
The "conspiracy theory" of the DPP authorities has attracted public opinion on the island.
Some scholars on the island believe that the DPP authorities should treat cross-strait economic and trade exchanges positively, and refrain from making “pan-political” interpretations of all policies.
If even agriculture is used as a bargaining chip, cross-strait relations will only become more tense.
Some practitioners said that Taiwanese farmers have long been involved in agricultural and forestry activities in the mainland and planted tropical fruits. If the DPP authorities detained the "united front hat" because of the "22 agricultural and forestry measures", it would be too "on the line."
At the same time, Taiwanese businessmen and farmers engaged in agricultural and forestry production on the mainland cheered and praised the "22 measures for agriculture and forestry."
They happily believe that the new measures will provide Tainong with many guarantees in terms of land management rights, and provide support in areas such as loan financing, so that they have more confidence in expanding production.
Supporting Taiwanese and Taiwanese enterprises to develop rural characteristic agriculture, forest and grass ecological industries, and participating in the integrated development of primary, secondary and tertiary industries in rural areas have allowed Taiwanese businessmen and farmers to see the prospects and hopes of developing high-end and characteristic agriculture in the mainland.
Obviously, the mainland’s implementation of the “22 Measures for Agriculture and Forestry” will help the economic integration and development of the two sides of the strait, and will help compatriots on both sides of the strait to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.
Why do the DPP authorities have to squint their noses and eyes on such a good thing?
Because they are worried that Taiwan compatriots will get tangible benefits from the development opportunities on the mainland, they can see through their political nature and deceptive tactics, and then resist their attempts to create cross-strait confrontation.
Therefore, their consistent approach is that every time the mainland introduces things that are beneficial to Taiwan compatriots, they must all oppose it, and all things that are beneficial to the interests and well-being of Taiwan compatriots must be dealt with.
Over the years, the mainland has introduced “31 measures” and “26 measures” to implement equal treatment for Taiwanese compatriots and Taiwanese enterprises. The DPP authorities have slandered that these measures are intended to “differentiate Taiwanese society”; the mainland has introduced residence permits for Taiwan residents to facilitate Taiwanese compatriots In the mainland for entrepreneurship, employment, study, and life, they spread rumors that Taiwan compatriots who have obtained a residence permit in the mainland will have the risk of double taxation; the mainland will include Taiwan compatriots on the mainland into the new crown pneumonia vaccination plan. They maliciously discredited Taiwan. Human beings are experimental products; the mainland has set up a stage for Taiwanese youths to realize their dreams in the new media industry by organizing cross-strait live broadcast contests and training of Taiwanese youth anchors. They are arguing that this is a so-called "cognitive warfare" against Taiwan... It’s self-explanatory to compare the piles and pieces, who is paving the way for the development of cross-strait relations and building bridges for the well-being of Taiwan compatriots, and who is destroying roads and bridges.
However, the DPP authorities bucked the trend and tried to block the way for Taiwan compatriots to seek development and well-being. It is impossible to succeed.
They cannot prevent Taiwan compatriots and Taiwan enterprises from achieving better and greater development on the mainland, they cannot prevent Taiwan compatriots and Taiwan enterprises from benefiting from cross-strait exchanges, and they cannot stop the historical trend of compatriots on both sides of the strait coming closer.
