In view of the demonstrations they had promised in the spring, supporters of Alexei Navalny have created a website where people who are ready to go out to demonstrate must register.

But nothing will be decided before reaching the figure of 500,000.

They are already more than 90,000 to have registered in less than a day.

Almost 30,000 in Moscow, 13,000 in St. Petersburg, but also 160 in Chita, south-east of Lake Baikal.

On a map of Russia, the blue dots identifying people ready to demonstrate in favor of Alexey Navalny already cover the entire territory of Russia.

An objective pursued by the opposing staff.

Its goal: to increase the visibility of the opponent throughout the country.

A way to maintain the mobilization of the end of January, to possibly win new supporters and above all to challenge the authorities.

It is not a question of fixing as of today the date of their next demonstration but rather of gathering together enough demonstrators to push back the capacity.

This is why the modalities of the next demonstration, promised for this spring, will not be decided until 500,000 Russians have indicated their intention to take to the streets to express their dissatisfaction with power.

The relatives of Alexeï Navalny hope that the authorities will back down in front of the numbers and refuse to repress opponents as violently as they did last January.
