Hamburg (dpa / lno) - According to the Chamber of Pharmacists, more than 50 pharmacies currently offer free corona antigen tests in Hamburg.
Thus, despite limited staff and space capacities, the pharmacies made an important contribution to fighting the pandemic, said Chamber President Kai-Peter Siemsen on Tuesday.
He said that the pharmacies would also be available as partners of the doctors in delivering the vaccines when the vaccinations in the doctor's offices were to start in mid-April.
Siemsen recalled that the local pharmacies had already done extraordinary things for the citizens in the past few months.
As examples, he cited the short-term production of disinfectants, the distribution of masks and the cooperation in the vaccination centers.
