Shortly after 6 pm on Tuesday, the police are alerted to Sätra, where a woman was beaten and another woman was forced into a car by a man.
The man, who is in his 35s, drives from the scene with the woman in the car but is met by police patrols and stopped.
He was arrested and suspected of assault and unlawful deprivation of liberty.
The woman who was forced into the car is in her 65s and the woman who was beaten is in her 35s.
None of the women are in need of medical care.
The police state that there is a close relationship between the different people.
