Speyer (dpa / lrs) - In view of the further spread of the corona virus, there are new restrictions on shopping in Speyer.

Since the value of 50 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants has been exceeded within seven days (incidence) for three days, from this Tuesday (March 23), specialty shops can initially only receive customers with appointment shopping, as the city administration did on Monday announced.

This can also be made spontaneously: "Appointments can be made online, by phone or in the shop on site."

Mayor Stefanie Seiler also stated, however, that the city had "started the new week with an incidence of over 100".

If this continues for three days, further restrictions on public life would have to follow from Thursday.
