Dautphetal (dpa / lhe) - In the event of a major fire in a warehouse in Dautphetal (Marburg-Biedenkopf district), there was heavy smoke development.
The fire broke out on Sunday evening, the police said.
In the hall the size of a soccer field, old tires were stored, among other things.
Due to the heavy smoke development, several streets in the surrounding districts had to be closed.
The fire brigade brought the fire under control, according to the police, but assumed that the fire would continue until midday.
