Munich (dpa / sn) - Dynamo Dresden has suffered a setback in the promotion of the 3rd soccer league.

The front runner lost 0: 1 (0: 0) at table fourth TSV 1860 Munich on Monday evening and is only one point ahead of pursuers Hansa Rostock and FC Ingolstadt.

Phillipp Steinhardt (86th) scored the only goal of the evening for the “Löwen”, who are ten points behind Dresden.

Both teams indicated early on that they had the best offensive rows in the third division, even if the half-time break was goalless at first.

Because neither of them hid and looked for early guidance.

On the Dresden side, Christoph Daferner (8th / 10th) had the opportunity to bring Markus Kauczinski's team into the lead twice, but failed once against Munich goalkeeper Marco Hiller and was then offside.

On the other side, top scorer Sascha Mölders (13th) failed at Dynamo goalkeeper Kevin Broll, who steered his tough shot against the crossbar from close range.

In the second round, an open exchange of blows developed, without either team being able to gain an overweight.

However, it was not until the 68th minute before the league leaders appeared dangerously in front of the Munich goal.

A shot by Heinz Mörschel just hit the bar.

Tim Knipping (74th) and Ransford Königsdörffer (83rd) also narrowly missed the Dynamo lead.

On the other hand, the home side did better.

Steinhart scored untenable for Dynamo goalkeeper Broll from the left position.
