The Saint-Etienne (Loire) police officers dismantled a major drug trafficking last week in La Ricamarie, which resulted in the arrest of seven suspects and the seizure of many narcotics and contraband products.
As part of the searches carried out in the wake of the arrests, on March 15, investigators discovered a kilo of resin and cannabis herb, a hundred doses of cocaine and hundreds of contraband cigarettes, reports France Bleu.
A suspect presented to the juvenile judge
According to the police who communicated on this case on Monday, 70,000 euros in cash were discovered, including 50,000 euros hidden in a minor.
The total amount of seizures made as part of this investigation is estimated (with cash) at 100,000 euros.
Of the seven people accused of being involved in this trafficking, one suspect was exonerated.
A minor was brought before the juvenile judge.
The five other defendants who were to be tried last week in immediate appearance have requested and obtained a referral of the case.
