The 18-year-old had been wanted since a notorious kidnapping on Monday 11 January when an injured man was found early in the morning at a place along Norrköpingsvägen outside Linköping - between Tallboda and Linghem - after throwing himself out of a car.
A 58-year-old man was arrested later the same day and has since been detained in the case.
On Friday, the wanted 18-year-old could be arrested by police.
He is a resident of Linköping and previously convicted of a crime.
- He denies crime, says chamber prosecutor Helen Gestrin.
Prosecution or a request for an extension of prosecution must have been received by the district court no later than 1 April.
