Today, Sunday morning, the Syrian regime forces bombed Al-Maghara Hospital in the city of Al-Atareb in the western countryside of Aleppo, causing civilian deaths and injuries.

The bombing caused great damage to the hospital, which led to its complete cessation of service.

Al-Jazeera correspondent Adham Abu Al-Hussam said in the city of Idlib that seven were killed and 13 wounded, and five seriously wounded were transferred to Turkey for immediate treatment, and among the injured was the director of health in the opposition-held areas in the countryside of Aleppo.

The correspondent pointed out that the hospital that the regime targeted serves more than 100,000 civilians in the city of Atareb and its environs in the countryside of Aleppo.

In turn, the Syrian Civil Defense confirmed via Facebook that 3 civilians, including a child and a woman, were killed, with an initial outcome, and 15 others were injured, including medical personnel working in the hospital.

In its statement, the Civil Defense stated that the Syrian regime forces targeted the hospital with several artillery shells, which also caused material damage that led to the hospital being out of service.

Activists also published videos and photos of victims of the artillery shelling of the regime forces, and opposition media confirmed the deaths and injuries caused by the bombing.

Clashes

On the other hand, Syrian human rights sources reported that the clashes have continued since Friday near the town of Ain Issa in the northern countryside of Raqqa, after the Turkish forces and the opposition factions tried to advance in the villages of Al-Muallaq and Sidon, where the SDF has a headquarters.

Last night, Turkish forces bombed the sites of the Syrian Democratic Forces, which are the backbone of the Kurdish People's Protection Forces, and Turkish warplanes intervened to support the forces on the ground, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

Last November, more than 20 members of the opposition factions were killed in an ambush by the Syrian Democratic Forces in the village of Al-Muallaq.
