"The

production was unpleasant, scary and painful."

"

He continued even more even though I screamed and cried.

"

This is how a patient describes his doctor's visit in one of the complaints that the Patient Board has received regarding a doctor at a Scanian health center.

In two of the complaints, the visits to the doctor are likened to abuse.

Remitted further

SVT Nyheter has spoken to "Sara", one of the patients who has visited the doctor when she was about to change her contraceptive stick.

The doctor then took several incisions in "Sara's" arm, without having located the parking stick - something that Ivo has found was a defect.

The doctor never managed to change the contraceptive stick, but "Sara" had to be referred on.

- After that doctor's visit, I have felt very little confidence in the care.

I have felt offended and scared.

I did not want to see a doctor so I had to bring my partner with me, says "Sara".

"Sat and cried after the visit"

Several other people that SVT Nyheter spoke to who have been to benefit examinations at the doctor state that they have felt both discomfort and pain during the visits.

- I was in a lot of pain and it was extremely uncomfortable.

I sat and cried after the visit, says a person who wants to remain anonymous.

In the responses to the complaints to the patients, the health center writes, among other things, that

"The doctor did not perceive it as if the situation was unpleasant"

and that the operations manager regrets that the patient has experienced pain in connection with the examination.

SVT Nyheter has tried to reach both the health center the doctor worked at during the time of the complaints and the doctor's current workplace - without results.

In an email to SVT Nyheter, the doctor himself writes as follows:

- All healthcare staff receive complaints about their careers.

My manager and my supervisor have discussed each patient point of view to improve care.

No one on my device has taken it as an abuse.

What do you think about the fact that you have received seven complaints against you?

- Of course you do your best to improve it to zero.

It is about communication and listening more to patients, the doctor writes.
